Canoose Camps property borders the Canoose River. There is a well maintained gravel road that leads to the St. Croix River which is an excellent put out spot about a mile and a half from the lodge. This is an excellent spot to finish the day after you shot the rapids at Canoose Ledges on the St. Croix which is a mile up stream from this pull out spot. In the spring freshet you can kayak or canoe down to the St. Croix on the Canoose River which is practially walking distance from the lodge. The Canoose Stream empties in to one of New Brunswick's largest river the St. Croix, which has been a favorite among sport fishermen for small mouth bass.
